This is where all the magic is…

I am not even sure how to sum up my online work experience. We have had highs and lows and everything in between. We have bought sites and sold companies and everything in between.

Right now, our largest site is our laptop forum - NotebookForums.com. This site was actually started as a side project for our laptop e-commerce company, that we are no longer running. In an effort to move away from customers and toward content, we monetized the forums, and off we went. If you want to read more about NBF, you can easily read all the posts about this project.

I currently work for a family-owned company in Austin that owns several online companies running their interactive marketing program and also consult with several clients on their marketing, lead generation, SEO, and more. SMB consulting is a great creative outlet because I can make such an impact in a short amount of time. It’s addictive.

I have also flipped a few houses on the side. The first flip was filmed by TLC for a show called Flip That House. Apparently, we made quite an impression on some people. Buying, fixing and selling houses is a ton of fun, but also a ton of work. I’m not sure when the next project will be, but I certainly plan to be investing in real estate for a long time to come.
