Here’s why you should be reading my blog.
This is the story of a full-time Internet slave, errr… entrepreneur.
I have been working online full-time since early 2002 doing first e-commerce, then some Internet marketing and community building. I can honestly say that I love what I do, though there are times when I worry it might kill me. (Not often, thankfully.) I seriously love this business. I may not be the absolute best at it (though I am trying), I truly love what it’s about. I think that writing about what I am working on would be good for me, and maybe one other random person out there.
You can read about each of my projects in the left sidebar.
I am constantly inspired and amazed by the people I have met online. (Heck, I met my husband online, but that’s a whole other topic…) There are so many fantastically brilliant people that I have the honor of interacting with on a daily basis. They challenge and inspire me to do things that I had never thought to do before. If you are interested in who some of these people are, just check out my Daily Reads in the left sidebar. You guys know who you are - thank you for putting yourselves out there like you do.
Oh, you came here to learn about me? Okay, then. I am 28, married to my Adam, and we have three monsters beautiful children. We live in Austin, Texas.
So why blog now? I realize that I am last last person walking the earth to start a blog (or not). I’m okay with that. I happen to know this deep dark secret about myself that nobody else knows… You see, I know all about my inability to keep diaries, journals or whatever you want to call the offline version of this. Knowing that, I thought it was in my best interest to honor that quality in myself. I just knew that I if I put up a blog, it wouldn’t get nearly the love that it deserved, so I waited. And waited. And waited until the point where it got annoying that I didn’t have anywhere that I could record what I was doing in my business, what I wished I was doing, and what I wished I could have taken back. I was itching to have exactly what I had talked myself out of so many times. This blog.
Anything else you need to know? Drop me a line.
